RV Sikuliaq
Key Marine successfully installed a new Carrier 135-ton Chiller on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Research Vessel Sikuliaq in Seward, Alaska. This challenging job was accomplished in just under 10 days and required complex rigging performed by JAG Alaska, Inc., Seward Shipyard.
The former chiller was dismantled on its foundation in the ship and rigged out in pieces while the new chiller was dismantled in the warehouse and carefully rigged into the ship (down 3 decks) in pieces and reassembled on the foundation. The new chiller was commissioned without issue.
